Cambridge Brainbox Kits

Cambridge Brainbox Kits are designed to teach children the basic principles of electricity and electronics in an engaging, enjoyable way.

Easy to use

All the parts fit together with press-studs on a baseboard. Very little skill is required to assemble the components so making the kit suitable for all abilities.

What instructions are provided?

Each kit includes a detailed manual with clear diagammatic instructions. Links to the relevant Key Stage of the National Curriculum are in each kit.

The Primary Kit

Suitable for use in the classroom or the home. It covers the requirements of the Science National Curriculum at Key Stages 1 & 2 with links to Design and Technology and adds many extra exciting experiments for good measure!

The Secondary Kit

Designed to teach the principles of electronics and is for use in the home or the classroom. It builds upon the skills developed using the primary kit but it could be used in its own right as a stepping-stone to Key Stage 3 and 4 electronics.

The Explorer2 Electronics Kit

Builds upon the skills already learnt and to increase the student's knowledge of the principles of electronics. The kit is for use in the home or the classroom and could be used to enhance the understanding of Key Stage 3 and 4 electronics.
